Environmental Social Governance Plan

Marcus and Marcus are pleased to share our ESG (Environmental Social Governance) strategy and Carbon Reduction Plan with a commitment to net zero by 2030.

With a focus and commitment on sustainable practices, wellbeing, our communities and equality, diversity and inclusion. This year we have:

Environmental

  • Introduced waste reducing/energy saving/recycling initiatives 
  • Made significant progress towards paperless practice. 
  • Introduced a cycle to work scheme. 

Social

  • Implemented a new Employee Assistance Programme which includes a  range of wellbeing initiatives  and identification of wellbeing champions from frontline services to oversee our wellbeing efforts.
  • Increased the number of mental health first aiders within Marcus and Marcus.
  • Offers a range of developmental opportunities including for  people with lived experience.
  • Engaged with a local charity Wildlife Ambulance and Rescue Service to explore joint  volunteering and fundraising opportunities.
  • Celebrated the wonderful diversity within Marcus and Marcus with a Cultural Celebration Day and Annual Sports Day.

Governance

  • Begun implementation of a digital transformation programme
