Environmental Social Governance Plan
Marcus and Marcus are pleased to share our ESG (Environmental Social Governance) strategy and Carbon Reduction Plan with a commitment to net zero by 2030.
With a focus and commitment on sustainable practices, wellbeing, our communities and equality, diversity and inclusion. This year we have:
Environmental
- Introduced waste reducing/energy saving/recycling initiatives
- Made significant progress towards paperless practice.
- Introduced a cycle to work scheme.
Social
- Implemented a new Employee Assistance Programme which includes a range of wellbeing initiatives and identification of wellbeing champions from frontline services to oversee our wellbeing efforts.
- Increased the number of mental health first aiders within Marcus and Marcus.
- Offers a range of developmental opportunities including for people with lived experience.
- Engaged with a local charity Wildlife Ambulance and Rescue Service to explore joint volunteering and fundraising opportunities.
- Celebrated the wonderful diversity within Marcus and Marcus with a Cultural Celebration Day and Annual Sports Day.
Governance
- Begun implementation of a digital transformation programme
