Personalised and Person Centred
We place the individual at the centre of their support, ensuring their voice, aspirations, and choices guide all planning. Our approach:
- Focuses on what is important to and for each person
- Mobilises families and networks as sources of creativity and support
- Encourages ongoing goal-setting and reflection
- Promotes choice, control, and decision-making in everyday life
Our staff teams are supported by practice leaders who coach and embed reflective practice, ensuring continuous improvement. Capable Environment audits and trauma informed approach to guide our staff in providing person-centred services that enhance:
- Emotional & physical well-being
- Material well-being & personal development
- Interpersonal relationships & social inclusion
- Self-determination & rights
Central to our model is fostering a sense of belonging, developing positive relationships, supporting health and communication, and ensuring individuals enjoy an active, healthy, and happy life.
Person-Centred Active Support (PCAS)
We believe all people, regardless of disability or behaviours that challenge, are capable of growth and development. Using PCAS, we:
- Enable people to engage in meaningful activities and relationships
- Reduce risks of loneliness, boredom, and behaviours that challenge
- Build skills, independence, and access to wider opportunities
- Support inclusion within local health, education, and leisure services
- PCAS is widely recognised as an evidence-based foundation for Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) and as a primary prevention approach to behaviours that challenge.
