Why Work for Us

Working for Marcus and Marcus means joining an award-winning, CQC Outstanding, and NAS accredited organisation with a strong reputation for excellence.

We are proud to offer our team a supportive, inclusive, and empowering environment — where you’ll be encouraged to grow, develop your skills, and make a real difference in people’s lives. With above-average staff retention rates and a focus on internal progression, this is an excellent opportunity to join an innovative and evolving organisation that truly values its people.

Our Commitment to Wellbeing

Our people are our greatest asset. Our Wellbeing Strategy outlines a range of support services and initiatives designed to ensure every team member feels valued, supported, and empowered.

We’re proud to hold both the Wellbeing at Work Commitment and the Age Friendly Employer Commitment — reflecting our dedication to creating a positive, healthy workplace for everyone.

Our Wellbeing Offering includes:

Wellbeing Ambassadors

We have two dedicated Wellbeing Ambassadors who lead our wellbeing initiatives. They champion positive mental health, promote wellbeing activities, and ensure everyone has access to the right resources and support when needed.

Mental health first aiders

We have a number of trained Mental health First Aiders who are equipped with the knowledge and skills to support someone experiencing a mental health issue or crisis.

Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)

Our EAP provides a comprehensive range of support services, including:

Benefit Hub: Discounts across local shops, gyms, and services — including reduced gym memberships and retail offers.

Critical Incident Support: Access to fully qualified counsellors or clinically trained psychotherapists at any time.

Legal Support: Free initial advice from trained legal professionals on a wide range of issues.

Structured Counselling: Confidential counselling services to ensure our team always has someone to talk to.

Nutrition Resources: Hundreds of healthy recipes, from quick snacks to family meals.

Digital Gym: Live and on-demand classes including Pilates, HIIT, yoga, combat, and kettlebells.

Be Calm: Mindfulness and meditation resources, including clinician-led, self-guided wellbeing sessions.

The Care Certificate

Growth and Flexibility

We understand that everyone’s life patterns and responsibilities are different. That’s why we offer flexible working arrangements and a variety of shift options to support work–life balance.

We are proud to promote from within — over 90% of our promotions are internal, and the majority of our leadership, office, and PBS teams started their careers as frontline support staff. This creates a culture of shared experience, mutual respect, and opportunity for all.

When you join Marcus and Marcus, you’re not just starting a job — you’re becoming part of a supportive, forward-thinking organisation that celebrates your growth, wellbeing, and success.
